Choose wisely, your partner will be with you throughout your entire journey through the Night Rain Region.

Route 01, the beginning of the journey, the simplest one. But do you have what it takes? Mainly Normal and Dark type Pokemon can be found here.

| 'Checkpoint' 01 (2 sub-boards)
Off the stone path, sits a Pokemon Center and a mart, as well as a fountain with benches all around it, sort of like a mini-town.

| Route 02 (2 sub-boards)
Route 02 is a more rocky, rugged terrain. You'll be lucky if you find something more then a Geodude. All in all, it's quite boring really.

| Dense Forest
An extremely thick, dark forest. Bug, Flying, Dark, and Grass Pokemon flourish here, and some are higher levels then you'd expect. These Pokemon are relatively shy or aggressive, never friendly, so if you catch one you'll have a hard task at hand socializing it. Once out of the forest, you will be right outside the first city!

| Chenoa City (5 sub-boards)
Congratulations! You've made it to your first city! This city is rather odd, and also rather large. Chenoa means 'dove', which is also a symbol for peace. That is exactly what this city symbolizes; peace and harmony. Fire and water, rivals right? Wrong. The gym leaders, yes leaders, prove that.

| Riverside Forest
As you walk on your way from the last city you have started to make your way down a narrow path. The path is next to a river, which if flowing fast and strong. Water Pokemon lay in the bushes next to the path and around the waters edge, disturb them and, well, you'll just have to find out.

| Route 03
This is the third route on your journey, but this one is different. This place is a forest path but it has creeks running on both sides. Be careful not to hit or step on a rock, it could just send you into the creek on either side. Water and Grass Pokemon enjoy hanging around here, so might as well take a look.

| 'Checkpoint' 02 (2 sub-boards)
This is the second Checkpoint, almost the same as before this. It has a Pokemon Center and Mart, benches and well, no fountain. Instead of a fountain this place has a creek running right through it.

| Route 04
This is the fourth route on your journey, no worries it is harder but once again these Pokemon are Water type!. But there are also Flying Pokemon that have been roaming around.

| Jaci Lake 'South Half' (1 sub-board)
This is a huge lake, strong Water Pokemon can be found in it. The water is very cold, but when you need a drink it is soothing. Some say that this is the 'better half' of the lake. Jaci Lake got it's name from a hiker that discovered that on the full moon it glows brightly like the moon itself. Jaci means 'moon'.

| Jaci Lake 'North Half' (1 sub-board)
This is the other half of Jaci lake, but it isn't as beautiful. This place is a swamp or marsh land. The lake has extended onto the land and its surrounding paths. Water and Ghost Pokemon roam around here so be careful. Oh, and you might want to take our advice and stick to the fallen logs.

| Shikoba City (5 sub-boards)
This the second town on your journey and yes, this is just as large as the first. The Gym in all this town has a liking for birds. Shikoba means 'feather'. In order to move on in your journey you must defeate the Gym leader here.
